Overview

Come join our team at Georgia Crown Distributing Co. as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Georgia Crown is a full-service alcoholic beverage distributor with wholesale operations doing business in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
  • Must be able to complete required written paperwork (purchase requests, PM records, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years of age with a Hight School Diploma/GED and 2 years Technical School or equivalent OJT with electrical motors, conveyors, ASRS, or mechanical systems. 
  • Can operate a scissor and/or boom lift and work at extended heights up to 40 feet.
  • Must be safety minded and promote safety at all times while working.                         
  • Prior experience preferred in the following areas:
    -Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints
    -Electrical systems-120 volt,277 volt,480 volt
    -PLC's-Basic PLC trouble shooting skills
    -Pneumatics
    -Preventative Maintenance schedules & routines.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks…).
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
               Cannot have more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years.
               Cannot have DUI, reckless driving or hit-and-run in last 5 years.
  • Drug Free Workplace.
