Georgia Crown Distributing is looking for a Marketing Manager for our McDonough Ga location. Marketing Manager will be responsible for Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee marketing.
Responsibilities
Direct Reports: Manage and develop Marketing Associate & POS Coordinator Positions
Directly manage third party Marketing agency, Syrup.
Annual marketing plan and budget development, resource management and timeline development.
Manage the overall marketing budget for (AL, GA & TN). Track and measure all spends to ensure we are staying within the agreed upon dollars.
Develop Marketing footprint and strategy for Alabama, Georgia & Tennessee to mirror one another.
Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
Manage and Oversee POS ordering from suppliers and 3rd party agencies.
Research trends and brands to stay current with similar products or services on the market
Work with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers while maintaining current customers.
Manage and negotiate all marketing contracts for Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.
Develop marketing strategies with Supplier partners for new products or services that comply with current company standards and market trends.
Control and manage workflow of projects for direct reports and agencies by determining priority of projects. Review all projects and spends to maximize our budgets with these agencies/partners.
Oversee brand strategy for implementation throughout all marketing and communication platforms.
Oversight of design, development, new program implementation, promotional and brand elements.
Collaborate with other colleagues/departments to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company.
Continue to be integral part of the wheel that supports sales and gives them to best “Tool Kit” in the market to succeed.
Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs occasionally/frequently to build displays and install POS materials.
Knowledge of similar industry is preferred.
College Degree preferred.
Basic Computer skills.
Must have good people/communication skills and willingness to work with store owners, managers, and sales reps.
Must be able to push, pull and carry cases of product (i.e. building displays and stocking shelves with specialty products).
Must be able to work long hours.
Willing to work in McDonough area.
Must be able to drive to and from McDonough area.
Must be able to work
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
Cannot have more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
Cannot have DUI, reckless driving or hit and run in the last 5 years.
Must be able to keep 100/300/100 liability amounts on car insurance.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, MVR and drug test.
